What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email, and profile photo. When you upload statements, we extract transaction data and store the PDF securely.

How we use your data

Your household data is used solely to provide statement extraction, bookkeeping, and a searchable file vault in Household IQ. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Storage

Files are stored encrypted at rest in AWS S3. Database records are stored in PostgreSQL with access restricted to your household members.

Third-party services

We use Google OAuth for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and an LLM service for document parsing. These services receive only the minimum data required for their function.

Data deletion

You can delete all your data at any time using the "Reset Data" feature. Upon account cancellation, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.
